Contra Costa County Sanitation District No. 6 (“SD-6” or the “District”) was formed in 1992 to provide sanitary sewer service to the Stonehurst Subdivision in an unincorporated area of Alhambra Valley. In 2012 the Stonehurst Subdivision was annexed to the City, which included all of the parcels in SD-6. On March 31, 2015, the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution No. 2015/108 designating the Martinez City Council as the Board of Directors of the District in accordance with Health and Safety Code section (HS&C §) 4730.

Boundaries

Service charges in the District provide for the continued operation and maintenance of the sanitary sewer system serving the Stonehurst Subdivision.
