The City has long supported local non-profit organizations that serve the Martinez community. In March 2007, the City Council adopted a “Community Groups Funding Policy” which was subsequently updated in June 2024. The City is now accepting applications from Martinez-based nonprofit community organizations for Fiscal Year (“FY”) 2024-25. All approved funding allocations must be spent between July 1, 2024 and June 30, 2025. 

The application and supporting documents are available by clicking the links below. Please note that completed applications for FY 2024-25 must be submitted to sustainability@cityofmartinez.org by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, June 30, 2024. 

FY 2024-25 applications will be reviewed by City staff, considered by the Budget and Finance Subcommittee, and approved by the City Council.  

Please note: the total funding amount available for FY 2024-25 is proposed to be $14,500. Organizations that receive more than $1,000 must complete and submit an After-Action Funding Report.
