The Community and Recreation Services Division is committed to following the City of Martinez mission statement, which reads: The City of Martinez will provide efficient and sustainable, responsive, high performing public services, and well-maintained public facilities, that enhance the safety and livability of the community, and support fiscal stability and a healthy local economy through business development.

The Community and Recreation Services Division provides programs and services in the following areas:

• Youth and Adult Sports Programs & Camps
• Aquatics Programs and Lessons
• Senior Programs and Services
• Summer and Seasonal Camps
• Picnic, Facility and Pool Rentals
• Special Events
• Therapeutic Recreation Programs and Services

In addition, staff supports:

• Parks, Recreation, Marina and Cultural Commission
• Cemetery Commission
• Veterans Commission
