Picnic Rentals

The City of Martinez has five parks with reservable picnic areas that are perfect for a variety of gatherings ranging from 15-180 people. Picnic areas are first-come, first serve until the official picnic season begins April 14th, 2023. Picnic areas can be reserved on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Facility Rentals

We have two facilities available for indoor meetings and events. The following are available year-round to rent on an hourly basis (3-hour minimum):

Nancy Boyd
Multi-purpose room with 20-person maximum capacity. Amenities include electricity, refrigerator, sink and microwave.

       Golden Hills     

Multi-purpose room with 25-person maximum capacity. Amenities include electricity, sink, chairs, and tables

Library
Meeting Room with 60-person maximum capacity. Available for approved non-profit organizations. See Library and Community Meeting Room Policy and Procedures for more information.

Park Rentals

Any group, organization, company or family may make a guaranteed park reservation through Recreation Division. Reservations will be taken beginning February 13, 2023 for City residents. Non-residents may make reservations beginning March 1, 2023. Fees for deposits and rentals vary, depending on the facility desired. We accept MasterCard and Visa. You can obtain rates and availability by phoning Recreation Division at (925) 372-3510. Definition of Martinez Resident: your residence is located within the city limits of Martinez.

Sport Field Rentals

The City of Martinez has a variety of fields available for soccer, baseball and softball. Reservations for City park and athletic facilities for practice and organized league play should be made through Recreation Division. Priority will be given to recognized youth sport organizations and sanctioned Recreation Division programs. Facility use requests will be accepted only from program representatives. Individual team managers will not be recognized without authorization from league directors.
