Welcome to our City calendar! Our calendar serves as a resource for residents and visitors alike seeking to know what is happening in our City. From cultural festivals and bustling markets to educational workshops, each day brings a new adventure in Martinez. 

Memorial Day

Celebrating the fallen at our historic Alhambra Cemetery followed by a gathering at Ignacio Plaza.  The Veterans Commission, Veterans of Foreign Wars chapter and local eagle scouts, highlight this event with ceremonial performances and solemn words from our city council.  

The first ceremony begins at 10:00am at Alhambra Pioneer Cemetery with a raising of the flag, then moves to Ygnacio Plaza in front of City Hall where the full ceremony will take place at 11:00am. The ceremony will conclude with a three-volley salute.
